Julia Donaldson（朱莉婭·唐納森），英國當代著名兒童作家。
45歲（1993年）才開始兒童繪本創作，短短几年就功成名就，囊括了兒童文學領域的諸多重要獎項，之後十多年，一直保持著強勁旺盛的創作水準。
她的作品被翻譯成70多種文字，暢銷全球，圖書累計銷量上千萬冊，2011年，Julia Donaldson當選為英國2011-2013年度Children‘s Laureate（兒童文學桂冠作家）。
Julia的幾本經典兒童繪本：《The Gruffalo》，《The Gruffalo’s Child》， 《Room on the Broom》， 《The Snail and the Whale》，《A Squash and a Squeeze》，《The Smartest GIANT in Town》，《Tiddler》等等，都是與插圖畫家Axel Scheffler的合作，這些作品長期佔據英國兒童圖書暢銷書排行榜前列。
