Workroom is a studio specialising in contemporary design and interiors in the commercial， retail， residential， industrial and hospitality sectors。 Each project is a feat of design and engineering， a delicate balance between aesthetics and function。 Their design motto is： “Making the mundane beautiful and creating art with a purpose。”

The studio combines two buildings to form a cohesive and fluid family home。 To fully appreciate the complexity of the project and the challenges involved in creating the coherence and fluidity it embodies， it is necessary to first understand the history and context of the site。 Inside， the ceilings are low and the rooms are small and disconnected， so the narrative between the two buildings doesn’t make sense。 Although it has a beautiful garden， with swimming pool and tennis courts， and spans two blocks， the house itself is enclosed and confusing。
East Kew Residence光線與空間
East Kew Residence是一座建立在隱私和約束基礎上的住宅，為此，設計工作室進行了微妙的設計。透過移動和元素的體驗在場地上進行展開，工作室基於發現的方法再結合觸覺，創造了與光線和周圍環境相結合的形式。East Kew Residence is a Residence built on privacy and constraints， for which the design studio has subtly designed it。 Unfolding on the site through the experience of movement and elements， the studio combined a discovery-based approach with touch to create forms that engage with light and the surrounding environment。
