Raise red flags

1. fish or cut bait

Son, either go on to college or go out and find yourself a job。 It‘s time to fish or cut bait!

Raise red flags

2. up in the air

在俚語詞典中,up in the air的解釋如下:

not decided or completely developed, undecided/uncertain about someone or something

Raise red flags

We have no idea which school she’ll be attending in September - everything is still up in the air。

3. raise red flags≠

Something that is a “red flag” is a problem or a concern, one that could lead to danger。

Raise red flags

In the past, ships raised red flags to warn other ships of dangerous waters。
