大雁塔|大慈恩寺塔

大雁塔儲存的文物中其中最值得一提的要數貝葉經，即刻寫在貝多羅樹葉上的經卷。由於古印度沒有紙張，書寫常以貝葉代之，玄奘沿著絲綢古道取回的657部真經均為貝葉經。大雁塔四層塔室內就供奉著兩片長約40釐米、寬約7釐米的貝葉經，上面刻寫著密密麻麻的梵文，據說現全世界認識該文字的學者不足10位，非常罕見。Among the cultural relics preserved in the big wild goose pagoda， the most noteworthy one is the palm leaf Scripture， which is immediately written on the leaves of bedoro。 Because there was no paper in ancient India， the writing was often replaced by the palm leaf scriptures。 All the 657 authentic sutras collected by Xuanzang along the ancient Silk Road were all shell leaf scriptures。 In the four story tower of Dayan Pagoda， there are two pieces of palm leaf scriptures about 40 cm long and 7 cm wide， which are engraved with dense Sanskrit。 It is said that there are less than 10 scholars in the world who know this text， which is very rare。
