此符壓怪花錢，清代湖南湘爐鑄造，厚重壓手，文字風格較為粗獷，但是書法風格比同局其他花錢更好，背面為滿文，應該也為此符壓怪，文字簡單但是意義準確。
該幣黃亮。正面上下對讀“此符壓怪”，左右道教鎮鬼壓鬼道符，背面是趨吉避凶的滿文，是清人用來祈福去病去災鎮宅的法器。該錢應屬山鬼系列花錢。其幣文攜刻鑄造深峻，地章有自然天成的傳世包漿和水銀沁。邊道圓潤，花紋黃亮，品相完美，完整音好，無裂無補，是一眼開門之物。是一枚較為罕見的清代古幣花錢，用於辟邪消災、逢凶化吉，此幣品相完美，極具收藏價值。
說起驅鬼除惡，太上咒花錢算是比較大的一個品種，雖然沒有山鬼那樣名聲在外，但是絕對是一個不容錯過的經典道教題材。
太上咒花錢
正面，太上咒曰：天圓地方、六律九章、符神到處、萬鬼滅亡、急急如律令奉，敕攝此符神靈。 咒文由方框圍合，寓意祈福驅邪。
背面，穿右為真武披髮仗劍於龜蛇合體玄武之上，穿上為符咒，左左右倆侍衛。
