醜陋的，恐怖的，害怕的
tedious[ti:dis] adj.
枯燥的，乏味的
這兩個單詞長得很像，容易混淆。可以用這樣的方法記憶：
hideous=hide+ous
， hide 意思為隱藏，-ous為形容詞字尾，發揮你的想象力，將
hideous記憶為

；
tedious=ted+ious，
ted大寫就是TED演講，-ious為形容詞字尾，發揮你的想象力，
