一、Other （另外的，其他的） 的例句

1、修飾可數名詞單數時，other前面要加限定詞： my， her， the 等等

Jim is 10 years， my other son is 4 years old。

吉姆10歲了，我另一個兒子4歲

She is one of my best friends， my other friend is Lucy。

她是我最好一個的朋友，我的另一個朋友是Lucy

Where is my other shoe？

我另外一隻鞋子在哪？

2、修飾複數或不可數名詞時可不加限定詞

I need other books。

我需要其他的書

I need some other water

我需要另一些水

I need some other money。

我還需要一些錢

二、Others（另一些，其他一些）的例句

僅作代詞，表示複數的人或物

I don’t like these books， do you have others？

我不喜歡這些書，你還有其他的書嗎？

These people are Chinese， others maybe are English。

這些人是中國人，其他的可能是英國人

其單數形式是 another （另一個）

I don’t like this book ， do you have another ？

我不喜歡這本書，你有其他的嗎？

三、The others （剩下的一些，其餘一些）

I have 10 bags， 5 are red， the others are green

我有10個包，5個是紅的，剩下的是綠的

There are 30 students in the class， 22 are girls， the others are boys。

其單數形式是： the other

I have two books， one is Chinese ， the other is English。

1、形容詞

This is the other side of the street （修飾單數名詞）

這是街道的另一邊

Where are the other books， I can only find 4。 （修飾複數名詞）

其他的書在哪，我只找到了4本。

2、作代詞：表示確定的另一個

I have two books， one is English ，the other is Chinese。

我有兩本書，一本是英語書，另一本是語文書
