Peppa and Gearge are at playgroup.
佩奇和喬治在幼兒園。
"Good morning,children,"says Madame Gazelle."Today is a lucky day."
“早上好，孩子們，”羚羊夫人說，“今天是幸運的一天。”
"Is it my birthday?"Ask Danny Dog.
“是我的生日嗎？”小狗丹尼問。
"No"giggle Manden Gazelle.
“不”羚羊夫人笑了。
"It's Chinese New Year!"
“這是中國新年！
Miss Rabbit brings in lots paper lanterns.
兔子小姐帶來了很多閃紙。
She is going to be a helper today.
她今天是過來幫忙的。
"Chinese New Year is about family and good fortune",says Madame Gazelle.
“中國新年關於家庭對美好未來的祝願”，羚羊夫人說。
"Let's celebrate together!"
“讓我們一起慶祝吧！”
Everybady cheers"hooray!
大家都歡呼“萬歲！
The children make Chinese New Year cards.
孩子們做中國新年賀卡。
"Why are all the cards red?"wonders Peppa.
“為什麼所有的卡片都是紅色的？”佩奇驚訝的問。
"In China,red is a very lucky colour,"replies Madame Gazelle.
“在中國，紅色是幸運色，”羚羊夫人回答。
"My dress is red",squeals Peppa.
“我的衣服是紅色的，佩奇尖叫。
"I must be extra lucky!"
“我一定非常幸運！”
"Is anyone feeling hungry?" asks Miss Rabbit,bringing out a tray of food.
“有人覺得餓了嗎？”兔子小姐問，拿出一盤食物。
"We are!"shout all the children.
“我們！”所有的孩子叫。
There are sweeties,tangerines and little biscuits called fortune cookies.
有糖果，橘子和一種叫幸運餅乾。
"I like Chinese New Year", decides Danny,picking up two sweets.
“我喜歡中國新年”，丹尼堅定的說，拿起兩塊糖。
In the afernoon,Madame Gazelle helps everyone get dressed in smart clothes.
到了中午，羚羊夫人幫助每個人都穿上漂亮的衣服。
Madame Gazelle shows them pictures of China.
羚羊夫人展示了他的中國的照片。
"This house is called a pagoda,"she says ."Repeat after me!"
“這房子是一座寶塔，”她說：“跟著我說！”
"Pah-go-da!"giggles George.
“寶~塔！喬治咯咯地笑。
Madame Gazelle claps her hands.
羚羊夫人拍著她的手。
"Now..."she smiles."it is time for the Chinese New Year parade!"
“現在…”她笑了笑，“這是中國新年遊行的時間！”
"Wahhhhhh!" cries George. George points out of the window.
“哇哇哇！喬治哭著說。喬治指出窗外。
There is a scary dragon in the playground!
操場上有一條可怕的龍！
"Don't worry,George,"say Peppa.
別擔心，喬治，”佩奇說。
"It is only a pretend dragon."
“這只是一種假裝的龍。”
"look underneath,"whispers Madame Gazelle.
“看看下面，”羚羊夫人低聲說。
Miss Rabbit peeps her head out.
兔子小姐慢慢露出她的頭。
"Hello ,George!"she says.
“你好，喬治！”她說。
The mummies and daddies arrive.
媽媽和爸爸來了。
The sky lights up with fireworks.
煙火照亮了天空。
Pop!Pop!Pop!
噼裡啪啦！
"We got here just in time,"says Diddy Pig.
“我們剛到這裡，”豬爸爸說。
"Wasn't that lucky?"
“那不是很幸運嗎？”
"Yes it was,Daddy,"giggles Peppa."
“是的，爸爸，”佩奇笑了。”
"Happy Chinese New Year!"
“新年快樂！”
