I， general manager Mr。 AAA， write you subject-related letter on behalf of the World Duty Free as one of commercial shops in CCC airport in this country， showing you our much regret。

Unfortunately， the quality of our services as our staff in our shop made available to you is unacceptably poor in quality， especially in the VIP programme that is designed to reward customer —— on top of our normal promotions —— at certain points of the year。 They are， in fact， unable to give you normal discount。 This is not what you expected when you bought goods in our shop。

Since your discount correspond neither to the description in our VIP programme nor to commercial custom and practice， you are requested to know what we are prepared to do is to compensate you for the losses you have suffered economically， according to sales slip issued with you during your purchase in our shop。

We trust that this step meets with Chinese customers’ approval， and you do not hesitate to contact us for your claim of a discount or goods equivalent to its value。 And we also trust that you have not been caused any undue inconvenience。
