Hi， my name is Sebastian， and I‘m responsible for Online Marketing and the Social Media activities of the global RLE Group。 I’ve been with the company since 2009。

My primary job is to ensure the professional branding of the RLE Group globally on every possible platform that we use。 I work closely with colleagues all over the world， to make sure that everything works well and that we have a transparent structure of how to handle things。

We want to ensure that the RLE brand is considered one family across the globe。 With colleagues and offices based in other location like USA， India， UK， Spain， Australia， Germany and of course， China， it is essential that we have a consistent brand experience。

The RLE culture revolves around “family” as its central value。 The overall atmosphere and tone are always friendly and very close since we have a lot of colleagues that have been with RLE for years。

Our day-to-day communication among us is very colloquial and solution oriented。 We live an open-door policy， up to the CEO to make sure， that everyone has the chance to interact with colleagues and managers if there is something to talk about or to exchange small talk or ideas。

At times， it is challenging to interact the same way on a global scale， when we have to rely technology to connect， but we do our best by engaging with our global teams regularly， offering skype calls or interactive sessions and training to keep the global community engaged。

It is essential that we leverage our global presence for our projects but also to strengthen our company culture at the same time。

It‘s customary for us to have colleagues introduce each other during the first day of work， we call it “Welcome Day”。 We also take the chance to show them our office building and introduce them to the key staff。 It’s an excellent opportunity to network and build relationships。

As most of our offices are located in industrial areas， we use to spend our free time in the city centre。 Cologne is a beautiful and old city， with iconic architecture with very friendly and open-minded people。 The most famous drink here is called “Klsch” and can only be called like it if it was brewed in Cologne。

Another famous point of interest is the cathedral or “Klner Dom”， which is several hundred years old and luckily survived both world wars。

Overall， Cologne is a beautiful city and a great place to have an office。 With its main train station and close-by airport， it is the ideal cosmopolitan city experience。

I visited the RLE Shangai office earlier this year with our Head of Corporate Marketing & Communication， Antje Schumacher。

We were amazed by the Chinese team and their overall team spirit， friendliness and technical competencies。 We are proud to call RLE China one of our most successful company stories with tremendous growth in people and business。 We would like to thank Managing Director Lane Mu for his continuous efforts and management， that will bring our office in Shanghai even further。 We believe in the future market in China and see the enormous potential for growth there。
